Clean slate

Shake the crumbs of doubt off the linen and onto the floor.

Then sweep it up with the shards of regret dutifully out of the door.

Pat your pillows, to dust off all the salted tears.

Then wipe  the mirror so you may properly see and face your fears.

Drown the tiles in the ocean of your heartbreak and hurt.
